Happy Dry January!

We’re halfway through Dry January! If this is your first time participating, yay you’re on the last leg! If you contemplated joining in but didn’t begin on the 1st, it’s not too late. Jump in now or any time. It’s never a bad time to have a dry month and see how it makes you feel.

  • If it sounds too hard to stay away from temptation then buddy up with a friend or find an accountability partner online with the #dryjanuary hashtag.

  • The first week is the hardest. Make plans that don’t revolve around alcohol. Make a list of things you’ve always wanted to try or get done that you never made the time for. Now is the time to shake things up. Organize your closet and then hit up that rock climbing gym you always wanted to check out.

  • Keep a “journal” or make notes in your phone on your progress through the month. Keep track of any physical and mental changes you experience. Make note any time something unexpected happens in your life. You might be surprised by what can happen in just one month sober.

  • Remember you don’t have to make any extravagant promises. Don’t pressure yourself. Just commit to one month to see what’s possible ✨.
